How to Delete Hidden Apps on iPhone

There are many different ways to display your iPhone’s most useful apps. You can even use a third party software tool to help you manage your collection of applications.

For instance, if you want to keep your phone in tip-top shape, it may be a good idea to remove some unwanted applications from your home screen. However, if you don’t want to resort to a data wipe, you can simply delete these applications from the internal storage of your device. It’s also possible to use external storage to house your favorite apps.

In addition to a wide variety of preloaded apps, your iPhone has several hidden apps you may not be aware of. This is particularly true if you have an iPhone 6s or higher. Even the most tech-savvy iPhone users can often times forget that certain apps can be hidden from the public eye.

One of the most helpful tools available to iOS users is the Settings app. Using this app, you can easily customize your ringtones, iCloud backup options, and other features of your iPhone. Also, the iPhone Storage menu allows you to view all of your downloaded apps. Aside from the usual suspects, the iPhone Storage page also displays the storage usage of any hidden apps you might have installed.

The App Library is a centralized database of all of the apps on your iPhone. It’s a good idea to take some time and get familiar with this nifty feature. All of your apps have been sorted into categories, so you can easily navigate your way through the collection.

The iPhone also has a feature known as Screen Time. It allows you to block certain apps from being used in the background, but this is not a substitute for deleting those apps. If you really need to find out how to remove a hidden app, the app identifier will tell you.

The iPhone’s most important feature is the Settings app. Besides giving you control over your home screen, the app lets you change the volume of ringtones, as well as manage your apps. Although the iPhone has a multitude of applications to choose from, not all of them are utilized regularly. Hence, it’s best to know what you’re getting into before you start installing them.

Another great thing about the Settings app is the fact that it allows you to display the best of what your iOS devices have to offer. Not only do you have access to the most popular iPhone apps, but you can also hide apps by dragging and dropping them into a folder or a sub-folder. Alternatively, you can even place all of your desired apps on your home screen.

While you are at it, you might also want to check out the newest App Store feature called App Library. To access the App Library, simply swipe left from your home screen. After doing so, you will find a bar labeled “App Library” at the top of the screen.
